Mood: waiting for wind
19th May 2009
Windsurfing: Pevensey Bay
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: guessing 15-20 knots
Surf / Sea State: choppy
Air Temperature: fine
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: sunny & windy
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

After-worker, though work did end earlier than usual for me ;-)
Met up with VFWMark & Baydrew & Francis at Pevensey to be greeted by Francis saying 6.2m & 120 ltr was best. Mark had rigged 6.5m on his 105 FSW. Baydrew was nowhere in sight at this point, being a bit later to arrive.

Went for the 10'5 & 5.8m ... AGAIN !!!

Ideal choice, easy to stay upwind, more tacking practice, some jump time, and next to no waves to surf sadly. Was pretty choppy but fun nevertheless and the sunshine meant it was fine for the 3/2 s/s wetsuit again, which makes it all that bit more FUN to be honest.

Decent 2-3 hours on the water, albeit a bit gusty at times with the wind swinging between cross-on and cross-off ... maybe the thermal / sea breeze was trying but not quite achieving today?

Good session, good company. Happy daze
